Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA JMC) at LPU

To apply for the BA JMC program at Lovely Professional University, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Language Requirement: English is required as a subject in the qualifying examination.
  • However, if the candidate has not studied English as a subject, this requirement may be waived off if the medium of instruction in the qualifying exam was English or if an equivalent subject was studied.
• Relaxation in Marks: A 5% relaxation in aggregate marks is provided for the following categories:
  • Candidates from the North-East states and Sikkim
  • Defence personnel, their dependents, and wards
