IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES BEFORE REGISTERING ONLINE
- Admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Course (B.V.Sc. & AH) of BHU will be done on the basis of the NEET 2024.
- Candidate must read, understand and familiarize themselves with the information bulletin of 2024 – Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Course available on bhu.ac.in & https://bhuadm.samarth.edu.in/.
- The basic eligibility for admission in Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Program is based on the following:
- He or she has completed the minimum age of 17 years and the maximum age of 25 years on or before the 31st December of that year of his or her admission to the 1st year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course; and there shall be relaxation of maximum age by five years for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class candidates.
- He or she has passed the qualifying examination as defined under these regulations with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course) and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects or an examination equivalent to intermediate science examination of an Indian University or Board recognised by the Association of Indian Universities taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
- Relaxation in minimum eligibility for Schedules Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Physically Challenged (PC) candidates will be followed as per information bulletin of 2024 – Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Course.
- Application Forms of candidates who submitted forged/fake certificates or adopted fraudulent means shall be REJECTED. Further, such candidates shall be debarred from appearing in any subsequent Registration Process by BHU, if any.
- Registration for B.V.Sc. & AH will be based on the email ID therefore candidate must have a valid and functional email ID to carry forward the admission related communication.
- Candidate must keep ready a scanned copy (jpeg. or pdf.) of 10th Mark sheet, 12th Mark sheet, Birth Certificate, Category Certificate (if any) and other relevant document.
- Candidate must carefully check their age eligibility for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Course before applying.
- Candidate must be prepared to pay the Registration Fee (Non-refundable) online during the registration process.

FOR ADMISSION TO BACHELOR OF VETERINARY SCIENCE&ANIMAL HUSBANDRY COURSE
(CANDIDATE MUST ENSURE THAT THEY FULFIL MINIMUM ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION DEFINED BY VETERINARY COUNCIL OF INDIA)
➢ The Banaras Hindu University shall provide the admission to Bachelor of Veterinary
Science & Animal Husbandry Course through NEET-2024 score as given hereunder for
the Session 2024-2025.
APPLICATION
1. APPLICATION FORM:
The University has created its Registration Portal with the domain name
https://bhuadm.samarth.edu.in its link is also available on the BHU website
(https://www.bhu.ac.in). The entire process of making an application for admission in B.V.Sc. &
A.H. courses during the academic session 2024-25 has been made ONLINE. Accordingly,
candidates may note that 2024 Information Bulletin and Application Form will not be sold (as
there will be no offline mode) and the candidates desirous of admissions shall be required to
register on the Registration portal of BHU and fill up the application form ONLINE as per
procedure provided on the Portal. For further details visit the website

2. APPLICATION PROCESSING / REGISTRATION FEE:
Candidate must be prepared to pay the Application Processing/Registration Fee (Non-
refundable) online during the registration process.

Candidate is required to fill up the Application Form ONLINE as the printed Information Bulletin-
cum-Application Form will not be sold by the University. After the candidate has filled up the
application form online, he/she will have following options for payment of Application
Processing/Registration Fee:
Online payment through credit card/ debit card through the payment gateway available on the
Registration portal.
Note :
(i) The Application Form once submitted with the Application Processing Fee at
concessional rate meant for SC/ST candidate shall be considered under SC/ST
Category.
(ii) The Application Processing Fee paid shall neither be refunded nor transferred to
another course and shall also not be reserved for any subsequent year, in any case.
DOCUMENTS IN ORIGINAL REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
Only those candidates who are selected/waitlisted shall be informed through a ‘notification to
be seen on Counselling Postal by the concerned Dean of Faculty BHU about their admission. When
the candidate will report for classes in the faculty on a particular date/dates, he/she shall have
to bring with him/her all the necessary documents mentioned below in ORIGINAL failing which
his/her admission shall NOT be considered.
(i) Mark sheets of High School/equivalent
(ii) High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
(iii) Marksheet of Intermediate (+2)/equivalent.
(iv) Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
(v) Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination, if any.
(vi) SC/ST/OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed, if applicable.
(vii) Transfer Certificate.
(viii) PwBD Certificate, if applicable
(ix) Migration Certificate, (if issued by the Board) to be submitted not later than 90 days of admission.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
The admission of a candidate in a course will be done only when he/she satisfies all the eligibility
requirements, and completes all formalities required for admission in the course. The admissions
shall be made strictly on the basis of merit index of NEET 2024, availability of seats in the course,as per rules given in this Information Bulletin and rules framed by the University from time to
time.
The admission will be done by the Admission Committee of the respective Faculty. The concerned
Dean of the Faculty will issue electronic Letter for Registration & Admission 2024-25 in B.V.Sc &
A.H. to the candidates for Counselling. As soon as the electronic message are issued, the
shortlisted candidates may ‘Login’ on the Candidate’ segment of the Registration Portal [
https://bhuadm.samarth.edu.in] for downloading the Letter for Registration & Admission.
Information on issue of Letter for Registration & Admission 2024-25 in B.V.Sc. & A.H. will be sent
to the candidates on their registered e-mail ids / mobile numbers. Therefore, the candidates
are advised to give correct e-mail addresses/mobile number for correspondence. Candidates
may also note that there will be no postal dispatch of message. Admission is based strictly on
merit index obtained in the NEET 2024.
NOTE: Sometimes there may be technical reasons for non-delivery of e-mails/SMSs to
candidates, therefore, candidates are advised to visit BHU’s Registration Portal
(https://bhu.ac.in or https://bhuadm.samarth.edu.in) every day to have detailed information
on counselling schedule, downloading offer of admission, payment of fee etc.
