The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38-Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partilly by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
The authorities have closed the registration & choice filling process of JoSAA 2023 online mode. All of the eligible candidates were allowed to register before the final date, to participate in JoSAA 2023. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2023 or JEE Advanced 2023 could log in and register for the JoSAA counselling procedure.

Step 1: Registration – In the first step, the candidates had to complete the JoSAA 2023 registration process. Candidates could follow the given process to register for JoSAA 2023.

Click on the registration link.
Enter JEE Main 2023 roll number and password to register.
JEE Advanced 2023 qualified candidates can use their corresponding password to log in.
Enter basic details such as the candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender, and more.
Review the details and reconfirm it.
No personal information, except for contact information, can be modified by the candidates.
Step 2: JoSAA Choice Filling – After the JoSAA registration process is completed, candidates will have to fill in their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges for which the candidates are eligible according to their qualifications (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) will be listed online mode. The selection of courses and colleges has to be done in the order of preference.
Step 3: Choice Locking – Finally, the candidates have to lock their selected choices. It has to be noted that no changes will be accepted once the choices are locked by the candidates. A printout of the locked choices has to be taken for future reference.
